Louisiana Infrastructure Technical Assistance Corporation (LITACorp)

Supporting Local Communities.
Driving Federal Investments.

The Louisiana Infrastructure Technical Assistance Corporation (LITACorp) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to advance the economic prosperity of Louisiana communities. LITACorp is a collaborative partnership between the Louisiana Municipal Association and the Police Jury Association of Louisiana to assist local governments with accessing federal grants through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to construct, improve, and repair public infrastructure in rural and economically distressed communities.

Many local officials inherited infrastructure problems decades in the making—systems patched together, underfunded, and pushed aside because there were never enough resources to do it right. At LITACorp, we don’t pretend those problems appeared overnight. We meet communities where they are and help them confront long-standing challenges by connecting them to the tools and funding needed not just to fix yesterday’s pothole, but to build future-ready communities. For many towns, this is the first time in a generation they can plan beyond survival and begin delivering the services that make a community a place where people want to live, work, and raise their families. That work is happening now, and it is long overdue. I’m grateful for the opportunity LITACorp has to serve rural communities, and for the vital role this work plays in securing Louisiana’s future. On behalf of everyone here at LITACorp, we wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and together, we will have a very Happy New Year!
— Leslie Durham, Executive Director
